Some of the most transfixing images from cinema, history books or performance art show women losing their shit – or finding another state of mind – in obsession, hysteria, ecstasy. This workshop will be a tribute to the aesthetic and imaginative qualities of these twilight zones, like the subway scene from Andrzej Żuławskis Possession - https://youtu.be/l7PuXAsPl9c (famously reenacted in Young Father’s music video Voodoo in my Blood - https://youtu.be/ElvLZMsYXlo), photographies of the contortions of the hysterics from Charcot’s Salpêtrière, myths of eerie vvitches or phantasma of exorcistic rituals.
We want to play with and embrace the often neglected grotesque, slimy, monstrous, weird and overwhelming elements of eros. Acknowledging, that we might have trained to have the perfect seductive bedroom-look, but it could be more rewarding to allow ourselves to go into (supposedly) ugly grimacing. Together we will hold the space for you to let it out, to exhaust yourself, trying out getting kookoo, exorcising something out of you, go into strange poses, to swear or speak in tongues, to stop having to be the soft, neat and quiet female* that is usually the only version society accepts, so we can all say “This is horrible! Please don’t stop!”
Drawing inspiration from Butoh dance, exhaustion work, Grotowski method, artworks, queer theory and historical materials, we will share our wishes, phantasies and ideas to create little scenes of freakouts and breakdowns for everyone who wants to tap into the powerful sources of the neurotic womxn.

HINWEISE ZUR VERANSTALTUNG / NOTES ON THE EVENT
Die Ziele unserer Veranstaltungen sind das gemeinsame Lernen in der Gruppe und die Unterstützung gemeinsamer Prozesse sowie die persönliche Entwicklung. Paare und alle anderen Arten von Partnerschaften oder Konstellationen sind willkommen, aber Sie sollten sich bewusst und offen dafür sein, dass die Kurse nicht als Partnerschaftserfahrungen konzipiert sind und wir jeden Menschen als Individuum ansprechen. Ein Beispiel: Um alle Teilnehmer gleichermaßen einzubeziehen, arbeiten wir bei den Übungen meist mit zufälligen Partnerkombinationen. Es werden also sowohl gleiche, als auch unterschiedliche Geschlechterkombinationen vorkommen. Die Teilnehmer sollten grundsätzlich offen dafür sein, mit jedem Menschen und jedem Körper zu arbeiten. Ausnahmen können im Einzelfall besprochen werden.
Geschlechtsidentität, sexuelle Orientierung, Alter etc. sind keine Kriterien bei der Anmeldung und der Auswahl der Teilnehmer.
Wir erwarten, dass Du vorsichtig, kommunikativ, consent-orientiert und achtsam handelst und wir ermutigen dazu, die eigenen Grenzen und die Selbst-Verantwortung zu achten.
Hate Speech wird nicht toleriert. Bitte bringen Sie "Candy Speech" mit.
Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, Teilnehmer zu bitten, den Workshop zu verlassen, sollte ihr Verhalten verletzend oder zu problematisch sein, und wir behalten uns das Recht vor, dies ohne Erklärungen zu tun - obwohl wir wahrscheinlich versuchen werden, es zu erklären. Die Workshop-Gebühren würden dann in voller Höhe zurückerstattet werden. Weitere Ansprüche sind dann ausgeschlossen.

The aims of our events are to learn together in a group and support collective processes as well as personal development. Couples and any other kinds of partnerships or constellations are welcome, but you should be aware of and open to the fact that the courses are not designed as partnership experiences and that we address each person as an individual. As an example: to include all participants equally, we usually work with random partner combinations in the exercises. Thus same, as well as differing gender combinations are likely to occur. Participants should be generally open to work with anybody and any body. Exceptions can be discussed in individual cases.
Gender identity, sexual orientation, age etc. are no criteria in the registration process and the selection of the participants.
It is required that you act with care, communication, consent and caution, and encouraged that you honour your boundaries and self-responsibilities.
Hate speech will not be tolerated. Please bring candy speech.
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave, should their behavior be harmful and we reserve the right to do that without explanations – though we will likely try to explain. Workshop fees would then be fully refunded, further claims are excluded.

Infolge der Coronakrise hatten viele Menschen – und auch luhmen d’arc und das serrat(u)s – bedeutende finanzielle Einbussen, während andere gut verdienten und weiterhin ihr Gehalt beziehen konnten. Geringverdienenden möchten wir mit den Soli-TIckets die Gelegenheit geben, weiterhin unsere Veranstaltungen zu besuchen. Gutverdienende laden wir für die kommenden Veranstaltungen herzlich ein, mit einem höheren Beitrag die Geringverdienenden, luhmen d’arc und das serrat(u)s zu unterstützen und bedanken uns schon im Voraus für Euer Verständnis und Eure Solidarität. Wir freuen uns sehr auf die künftigen gemeinsamen Kurse und Events.
Für MENSCHEN MIT BESONDERS GERINGEN EINKOMMEN – Studierende, Künstl’erinnen etc. – gibt es auf Anfrage unter Umständen auch die Möglichkeit für noch günstigere Preise.

As a result of the corona crisis, many people - and also luhmen d'arc and the serrat(u)s - had significant financial losses, while others were earning well and could continue to draw their salaries. We would like to give low-income earners the opportunity to continue attending our events with the Soli-Tickets. For the upcoming events, we cordially invite high earners to support the low earners, luhmen d'arc and the serrat(u)s with a higher contribution and thank you in advance for your understanding and solidarity. We are very much looking forward to future joint courses and events.
For PEOPLE WITH PARTICULARLY LOW INCOME - students, artists etc. - there may also be the possibility of even lower prices on request.

STORNOBEDINGUNGEN / CANCELLATION POLICY
Stornierungen sind bis zu acht Wochen vor Kursbeginn kostenfrei, bis 4 Wochen vor Kursbeginn wird eine Stornogebühr in Höhe von 20% der Kursgebühr fällig, bis 2 Wochen vor Kursbeginn eine Stornogebühr in Höhe von 50 %. Spätere Stornierungen und Rückerstattungen von Teilnehmerbeiträgen sind nicht möglich. Die Teilnehm’erinnen können jedoch Ersatzteilnehm’erinnen finden, welche die gebuchten Plätze in Anspruch nehmen. Bei einer Absage von Seiten der Veranstalt’erin wird die Kursgebühr in voller Höhe Rückerstattet. Weitere Ansprüche sind ausgeschlossen.

Cancellations are free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the course, up to four weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 20% of the course fee is due, up to two weeks before the start of the course a cancellation fee of 50% is due. Later cancellations and refunds of participant fees are not possible. However, participants can find substitute participants who will take the booked places. In case of cancellation by the organizer, the course fee will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
CORONA REGELUNGEN & VERFAHREN / CORONA RULES & PROCEDURES
Aktuell gilt in der Schweiz für öffentliche Veranstaltungen sportlicher und kultureller Aktivitäten eine Covid-Zertifikats-Pflicht, die Pflicht also, mit dem offiziellen Covid-Zertifikat nachzuweisen, dass mensch entweder geimpft, genesen oder aktuell gültig negativ getestet ist. Dies bedeutet, dass Menschen, die unsere öffentlichen Veranstaltungen besuchen wollen, ein gültiges Covid-Zertifikat haben und vorweisen können müssen. Wer keines hat und es bei der Veranstaltung nicht vorweisen kann, wird abgewiesen werden.
Bitte also nur noch mit gültigem Zertifikat zu unseren Veranstaltungen erscheinen! Bitte kümmert Euch rechtzeitig darum, wie Ihr zum richtigen Zeitpunkt Euer Zertifikat bekommen könnt!
In unseren Veranstaltungen gilt keine Maskenpflicht. Insofern halten wir uns an Artikel 20 Buchstabe d. Punkt 3 der Verordnung über Massnahmen in der besonderen Lage zur Bekämpfung der Covid-19-Epidemie, wonach gilt: „Wenn bei der Aktivität keine Maske getragen wird, muss entweder der Betreiber der Einrichtung oder der Organisator der Aktivität die Kontaktdaten erheben.“
Damit ist die Erfassung der Kontaktdaten aller Teilnehmenden zum Zweck eines allenfalls notwendigen Contact Tracings behördlich vorgeschrieben. Sie erfolgt bei der Ticketbuchung über eventfrog und ist verpflichtend für die Ticketbuchung und Veranstaltungsteilnahme. Die erhobenen Daten werden 14 Tage nach der Veranstaltung gelöscht.
Die Besuch’erinnen werden zusätzlich gebeten, die Veranstalterin schnellstmöglich zu benachrichtigen, falls in einem Zeitraum von 10 Tagen nach der Veranstaltung Covid-19- typische Symptome auftreten oder ein SARS-CoV-2-Test positiv ausfällt.

Currently, there is a Covid certificate obligation for public events of sporting and cultural activities in Switzerland, i.e. the obligation to prove with the official Covid certificate that a person is either vaccinated, recovered or currently has a valid negative test. This means that people who want to attend our public events must have and be able to show a valid Covid certificate. Anyone who does not have one and cannot show it at the event will be turned away.
So please only come to our events with a valid certificate!
Please take care in time how you can get your certificate at the right time!
There is no obligation to wear masks at our events. In this respect, we adhere to Article 20 letter d. Point 3 of the Ordinance on Measures in the Special Situation to Combat the Covid 19 Epidemic, according to which: "If no mask is worn at the activity, either the operator of the facility or the organiser of the activity must collect the contact details."
This means that the collection of contact details of all participants for the purpose of any necessary contact tracing is required by the authorities. This is carried out when booking tickets via eventfrog and is mandatory for ticket booking and event participation. The collected data will be deleted 14 days after the event.
In addition, participants are asked to inform the organiser as soon as possible in case of Covid-19 symptoms or a positive SARS-CoV-2 test within 10 days after the event.
