Some problems are easily solved. If you wonder how to cook poached eggs or play videogames you can check out various tutorials. But when it comes to vague feelings or niche situations it’s harder to find reliable sources that don’t fob you off with simplified advice like “Think positive!”.
Complex feelings like jealousy in complex situations like polyamorous clusters need special attention and knowledge. And courageous and cheeky undertakings like organizing a cuddle party or playing out your forced breeding fantasy also need exceptional care.
At a festival like T&P you will gain deep insights, solve tricky situations and might want to share what you found out. Or you’ll stumble over new specific questions and problems that need answers. And a wonderful way to spend quality time on those unique topics is to create or read zines.
“Zines” are self-published small magazines, lovingly handmade booklets that help you to get an empowering message across. They usually circulate in activist, queer or underground groups and their format is playful and creative. They typically can consist of collages, comics, lists, questions for introspection and journaling, inspiring quotes, storytelling, case examples, advice and tricks. In our workshop we’ll give this form of ‘craftivism’ a try. I’ll share some zine-examples for inspiration, offer materials and tools and invite creative processes like collective brainstorming. To find our zine-topics we’ll start by talking and sharing to find out what is on our hearts and minds at the moment.Or you can share topics that people have previously come to you with – maybe you have a knack for that particular theme. Plus, doing arts and crafts is just exceptionally soothing and sweet. 🙂
By the end of it, we should have co-created a small series of zines which we can discuss, elaborate upon, and use for reference.

More on the T&P-Festival:
“Over the past years the Post-Contact scene has gathered force with many CI-fusion forms bubbling up everywhere. Teaching on the chemistry of our connections however is still very limited and while many local communities acknowledge the need for clearer boundaries and guidelines in this realm these are often limited to written documents, leaving practitioners to figure things out for themselves. The value of embodied spaces that welcome the experiential exploration of the many unspoken needs that we bring to the dance floor is thus as present as ever.
T&P is a sex-positive, bdsm-friendly space open to dancers and players of all genders, abilities, origins and sexualities. Many of the Touch&Play teachers who’ve helped shape this body of work over the years will return to co-create a container that feels both comfortable and challenging and where we can connect through both a shared classical CI vocabulary and through the learning of new norms and forms that can enrich our dances, our relationships and our lives.”
